Review | SKIN 79 VIP Gold Collection Super+ BB Cream

Whitening  •  UV Protecting  •  SPF 25 PA++  •  Wrinkle Improvement

Official Claims
 weightless, long-wearing, hydrating
evens out skin tone, conceals imperfection

Ingredients
• Gold and Caviar Elements: nutrients that are easily absorbed into the skin for a luxurious and luminous feel
• Arbutin: whitens skin
• Osmopur (sunflower, rice bran, green tea, ivy): protects the skin

My Verdict
• non-irritating orange scent

• blends noticeably into the skin with a smooth creamy finish and dries to a sheer natural looking colour
• fades redness or rosacea

• lightens and brightens up skin tone with a glossy finish
• light-weight and fresh-feeling; non-oily / not cakey
• does not cause further breakouts
• not sweat proof- slides off with humidity, without setting powder and cannot be reapplied as easily
• limited in colour; only for lighter skin tones

Semi-Annual Underwear Sale Haul

Hello all!

Now that summer's just begun, June calls for semi-annual lingerie sales!

I bought more-or-less daily items that are comfortable to wear at a seemingly reasonable price from Aerie, Forever 21, and La Senza. If you can't already tell, expect to see a lot of bows and stripes.~

Aerie

Aerie's material is always airy. No pun intended. Their clothes are always on the thin side which is good for the summer or when wearing leggings. I was surprised that each piece was individually packaged in a bag when I had received them.
All in all it came down to the price of 5 for $16.50 + free shipping + 2% cashback. Not bad.

Forever 21

The material for these at Forever 21 are a bit thicker and more durable. I ended up getting 2 beach-themed ones and a meshed peach/black one to match a bra in the next post.
They go for 3 for $11.50 under the lingerie sale until the end of June.

La Senza

And of course, my last stop was at La Senza. For all the times I was at the mall this month, there was never a time I didn't see those black bags filled with pink tissue paper. Their bras and underwear are probably the most affordable of all the other ones in the mall. They had a 10 for $30 panty sale, but I'd figure it'd be a headache to pick them out at this point, since it was one of the messiest stores; which required the most digging and searching within baskets.
The gold and black laced bras have gel padding, which look more natural, provide more support, and give great cleavage. I tried on over 15 of them, but I settled for the 2 with neutral coloured straps for daily use. The neon pink one was one of the last from the $6.99 pile, so that was definitely a steal.

I think I will scout out for more boyshorts in the future. They provide the most support in my opinion, and the graphic design on the back of it gives a subconscious feeling of empowerment I swear.

Have you done your semi-annual underwear shopping? What are your favourite go-to panties and where do you usually get them from?

If you also did a semi-annual sale haul, feel free to link me;  I'd love to see it.

Bye for now, loves!
